Dog Park–
The ball field on West 10th Street is also a Dog Park. It’s a great place for dogs to run free and play. The park is open from 8:30AM to 8:00PM, April to October & 8:00AM to 5:00PM, October to April. All dog park users MUST obtain a dog park gate entry card (“Paw Pass”) & a dog park tag. Passes are free for Barnegat Light residents and for non-residents the annual fee is $30 and the weekly fee is $15. Applications for the passes can be obtained at Borough Hall, the Beach Badge Booth (in season) or on the Borough website (Important Forms). Proof of rabies must be shown, either with a rabies certificate or a current dog license. There are a few simple rules that we ask you to follow when using the park; all dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving the park, you must clean up after your dog, and please, no hole digging. Also, all dogs must be accompanied by an adult, friendly & non-aggressive.
Dog Park plaques are available for purchase for $65 or $75 with an engraved breed picture.

Skate Park-The skate park is located on W. 10th Street, the hours of operation are 9:00 am until dusk. The park is for skateboards and in-line skates ONLY, no bicycles or scooters. All users MUST have protective equipment, this includes a helmet with a safety strap, knee pads and elbow pads. Anyone 10 years old and under must have an adult present.
Tennis-The tennis courts are public courts and can be used by anyone. ALL players must have a current Barnegat Light season beach badge. If you do not have a beach badge the charge will be $10 per hour per court. Reservations are recommended, Barnegat Light residents can make reservations two weeks in advance and all others one week in advance. Reservations must be made at the Beach Badge Booth located on West 11th St. All children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The courts are open 8:00AM until 6:00PM seven days a week during the season. All players must check in at the Beach Badge Booth before play begins. During the off-season all play is first, come first serve and there is no charge to to play on the courts.
Prior to the start of the season, Barnegat Light residents can sign-up for one court at a set day and time weekly during the season. This MUST be done by June 5th.
Pickleball– The pickleball courts are public and can be used by anyone. ALL players must have a current pickleball pass- annual weekly or daily. Passes are free for Barnegat Light homeowners & the cost for non-homeowners is as follows: $100 for an annual pass, $20 for a weekly pass and $5 for a daily pass. Court space is limited, so please be courteous if others are waiting to play.
